Who we are
Wingham Electrical is a trading name of NordSys Limited, a Kent company. The data controller is NordSys Limited. Contact hello@winghamelectrical.co.uk.
What we collect
- Name, address, phone and email when you contact us for a quote.
- Photos of the job area if you send them by WhatsApp or email.
- Job records (site address, work carried out, certificates) after we complete the work.
- Website visits: we count visits with our own cookieless visit counter, described under Website statistics below.
What we do with it
We use it to quote the job, do the job, invoice the job and file the electrical certificates required by law. We do not sell it or share it with anyone except:
- HMRC where required by law.
- Our accountants for tax records.
How long we keep it
Job records and certificates: seven years, in line with tax law and the practical need to look up historical work. Quote enquiries that do not lead to a job: two years.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to the tax legal retention above). Email hello@winghamelectrical.co.uk.
Website statistics
We count visits to this site, for statistics only, using our own counting tool. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address. For each page view it records the page, the site you came from, any campaign label in the link you used, your country (approximate) and whether the visitor looks like a person or a robot. To count unique visitors it uses an identifier. We do not share this data with anyone except our hosting provider, which stores it on our behalf. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. If you click 'Don't count my visits' in the footer, we remember your choice in this browser with one small local-storage flag called na_ignore; our counter stores nothing else in your browser. You can object at any time using the link in the footer, or contact us at hello@winghamelectrical.co.uk. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our site.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, complain to us first at hello@winghamelectrical.co.uk. If that does not resolve it, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) is the UK data protection regulator.
