Who we are
Wingham Electrical is a NordSys Limited trading name, run out of Wingham for the Little Stour valley villages of east Kent. The founder is Richard Lim.
We are small on purpose. Village electrics is not a mass-market volume game. Every quote is site-surveyed, every job is done by someone who has been to the property and understood it, every certificate is filed before we leave.
What we work to
- BS 7671:2018 Amendment 2 - the wiring regulations, current from March 2022 and mandatory since September 2022.
- Part P Building Regulations - notifiable work notified to Dover District Council Building Control through a Competent Person Scheme.
- The IET Code of Practice for electrical installation condition reporting.
- The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 - the underlying legal framework.
Where we work
The CT3 core (Wingham, Ash, Staple, Goodnestone, Wickhambreaux, Littlebourne) plus a twelve-mile ring covering Preston, Adisham, Nonington, Chillenden and out to Canterbury's east edge. No travel charge inside that ring.

Insurance and cover
Fully insured for public liability. Details on request. We do not carry the NICEIC brand - the fee-per-year model does not fit our size - but every install goes through a registered Competent Person Scheme so the Part P notification and the EIC are valid and enforceable.
